The Cinematic Orchestra - To Build a Home
(I can’t help it, I love that movie.)
- Me: Jessie just texted me. She got out of surgery okay. She's going to let me know if she needs anything.
- Mom: K
- Me: Do you want that vacuum I've had for a while? The cone filter one?
- Mom:
- Me: You didn't write anything.
- Mom:
- Me: Still nothing.
Either just a “K” as a response, or just a blank one if she tries anything more difficult.

Inge has not read Shaughnessy’s column, nor is he likely to. But he disagrees with his assessment of the city.
“For one, anyone who’s going to knock another city is one of two things — one, ignorant, and two, very insecure,” Inge said. “Because what do you have to knock someone else’s city for? If you don’t like it, don’t come here. The thing is, most people have no idea what it has to offer. There’s bad parts in any city. I could go and I could find a bad part in Boston. I’ve lived there, too. You could find a bad part in New York. It doesn’t make any difference.
“The thing that means the most for me, the people of Michigan, the organization and the fan base for the Tigers are unbelievable. I’ve never met nicer people in my life, never met more down-to-earth people in my life, and you’ve got a 100-year-old organization who has some of the most loyal fans in the game of baseball.”
Once again, Brandon Inge has won my heart.
