whatthehale: The Giving Tree  We discovered at TEK’s shower last weekend that while the book The Giving Tree is a super awesome book & gift … the back cover, aka Mr. Silverstein’s crazy mug, is a little traumatizing.  Upon further research, apparently there is a line in The Diary of a Wimpy Kid where the dad keeps his son from getting out of bed at night by threatening him with the back of The Giving Tree, telling him Shel Silverstein would get him if he left his room. I die.  That is hilarious, and sounds like something my father would do.
