Technorati’s Authority number is simply the number of different blogs that have linked to you in the last 6 months. The rank is how many blogs have a higher authority than you. In your case, Garfield Minus Garfield is linked to on 764 different blogs. You are ranked as the #6,591 most linked to blog. That means there are 6,590 blogs that have 765 or more unique blogs linking to them. It’s really impressive to see how fast G-G shot up in popularity.

there are places where plantation slave quarters still stand. I took these pictures at Laurel Valley a long time ago and gave them a fresh face today. Some of these have been part of my website for awhile, but a couple, like this one, haven’t seen the light of day til now. Enjoy the whole set here.

This is awesome. I went to Laura Plantation last year while visiting Louisiana. It was interesting to learn how different the Creole plantations were from the southern plantations I had learned about growing up.
